The call for late breaker abstracts to be presented at ESCAIDE 2022, which report on acute public health actions or contain novel surprising findings, closed on 14 September. We received over 90 submissions, and 21 were selected through a review process by the Scientific Committee to be presented at ESCAIDE, as orals, posters and online-only posters. Results were communicated by email to authors on 6 October.

This means the ESCAIDE 2022 scientific programme is complete!

Abstract presentations this year cover a wide range of fields including outbreak monitoring, vaccine effectiveness, health promotion, surveillance and more, for infectious diseases that are affecting Europe and beyond. The late breakers cover some of the most prominent health crises from the past few months, including monkeypox and paediatric hepatitis, as well as recently acquired data.

See the sessions and abstract titles in the detailed programme on the Programme page.

Closer to the conference, all abstracts, including the online-only posters, will be on the online platform, Swapcard, and in the Abstract Book.

All full abstracts, and posters, will be available to view on the online conference platform, Swapcard, which will launch shortly before the conference.
