Do you want to share findings from your investigation/data analysis/research through a publication in a scholarly journal? In this workshop, led by the Eurosurveillance editors, you will gain insight into the editorial process, and learn tips and tricks on how to improve the quality of your submissions and increase your chances to get published. Eurosurveillance is a scientific journal devoted to the epidemiology, prevention and control of infectious diseases, published by ECDC.

This interactive workshop will provide the opportunity to learn about and discuss different aspects of preparing a manuscript for publication in a scholarly journal. Topics covered will include: an overview of the editorial process - from submission, peer review and revision to final publication, how to choose an appropriate journal for your work as well as editorial considerations during the selection process, and preparation of the title, cover letter and abstract.

The workshop will be comprised of plenary sessions and breakout group work, with ample occasion to ask questions and share your experiences. It will be held in-person, and online participation is not possible.
