ESCAIDE 2025

Thank you to all who attended and helped make the event a success. There were 2217 online participants and 691 in-person participants attending ESCAIDE in 2025.
Sessions
Plenaries provide an opportunity to discuss public health challenges and scientific advances, with high level speakers from cross-cutting fields.
Side events are organised by other organisations and include debates, showcases of work and networking and career development opportunities.

The Highlights report looks back on the content of ESCAIDE 2025, summarising the discussions from sessions in the programme
Summarises key data from ESCAIDE 2025, including registrations and attendance, abstract submissions and selection, online platform and app usage, content views and feedback survey results.
Daily summaries
The opening day of ESCAIDE featured sessions on public health governance, artificial intelligence, global epidemic intelligence, and science-based leadership.
The theme of the second day of ESCAIDE was One Health, with sessions on the intersection between veterinary and human health, the role of the environment in public health, and the EU's One Health task force. It also featured sessions on new developments and approaches in vaccination.
Plenary E, titled ‘Health for all: equity challenges in accessing essential health services’ introduced another day packed full of sessions and knowledge sharing.
