ECDC workshop: Introduction to evidence-based public health and evidence-informed decision-making
This interactive in person workshop will provide the opportunity to learn about and discuss the key concepts of evidence-based public health and evidence-informed decision-making in public health, combining lectures with practical exercises in small groups.
Topics covered will include:
- key terminology and concepts around evidence-based public health and evidence-informed decision-making
- systematic reviews and different types of evidence syntheses and their use
- evidence-to-recommendations frameworks
The workshop will be comprised of plenary sessions and breakout group work, with opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences. The workshop will be held in-person, and online participation is not possible.
We are offering a 1-day session on the day before ESCAIDE.
