Getting to the venue

We encourage you to consider these sustainable transportation options to reduce your carbon footprint and contribute to a more eco-friendly conference. If public transportation or biking is not feasible for you, please consider sharing a ride or using an eco-friendly taxi service.

From the airport

If you are arriving at Barcelona El-Prat airport, the easiest way to reach the Palau de Congressos is by taking the Aerobús to Plaça d'Espanya, which is a 5-minute walk from the conference venue. The Aerobús runs every 10-15 minutes from both T1 and T2, and takes approximately 20 minutes to reach Plaça d'Espanya from the airport.

By public transportation

The Palau de Congressos de Barcelona is conveniently located near public transportation options. You can take the metro and get off at Espanya (Lines 1, 3 and 8), which is a 5-minute walk from the venue. Additionally, several buses run by the venue, including lines 37, D20, 13, 23, 30, 37, 46, 50, 65, 79, 91, 109, H12 and H16.

You can find more information about travelling by public transport in Barcelona on the TMB website, or download the TMB app to plan your journeys and check bus arrivals in real time.

By foot

If you are staying nearby, you can choose to walk to the Palau de Congressos. Walking is an eco-friendly option that allows you to enjoy the beautiful sights of Barcelona.

By bicycle

Biking is an excellent way to reduce your carbon footprint and get some exercise at the same time. In recent years, Barcelona has been improving its cycling infrastructure in order to become more bike-friendly, with more than 200km of bike paths in the city.

While the city’s shared bicycle scheme Bicing is only available to local residents, we encourage you to look into other options for renting a bike while you’re in Barcelona – you can find some examples here.
