Guidelines for presenters at ESCAIDE 2022

Below are the guidelines for abstract presenters at ESCAIDE 2022, containing important information about your presentation, including timings and deadlines. Please read these carefully, stay up to date with announcements on the website, Twitter and Facebook, and contact escaide.conference@ecdc.europa.eu with any questions.

Guidelines for oral presenters

Summary of actions for oral abstract presenters:

  1. Register for the conference - deadline: 5 Sept (in-person), 30 Oct (online)
  2. Prepare your presentation and identify your session in the detailed programme
  3. Send us your slides
  4. Present at a Fireside session 
  5. Promote your talk on social media with #ESCAIDE 2022

Please ensure you read the guidelines closely, taking into account specific instructions depending on whether you will present in-person or online.

Guidelines for poster presenters

Summary of actions for poster presenters:

  1. Register for the conference - deadline: 5 Sept (in-person), 30 Oct (online)
  2. Submit your poster according to the specifications between 31 October and 14 November
  3. Prepare your Poster tour presentation and identify your session in the detailed programme (not for online-only posters)
  4. Make the best out of your poster by interacting with participants on the online platform
  5. Participate in a Poster tour (not for online-only posters)
  6. Promote your work on social media with #ESCAIDE2022

Please ensure you read the guidelines closely, taking into account specific instructions depending on whether you will present in-person or online, or have an online-only poster.

Poster templates: you can use the following PowerPoint files as templates to prepare your poster: template 1, template 2, template 3

A note to poster presenters: the guidelines were revised to delete the mention of using slides in your poster presentation. During your presentation, your poster will be displayed on ePoster terminals.
