Episomer: social media threat detection
Social media platforms are a valuable source of signals for epidemic intelligence. Episomer is a new, flexible, open-source R-based tool which currently can monitor BlueSky, with plans to include additional platforms. The objective of this hands-on workshop is to show how to adapt to social media data accessibility, from epitweetr’s retirement to episomer’s launch, and to explore episomer’s core functionalities.
