Travel Grants

Applying for EPIET Alumni Network Travel Grants for ESCAIDE 2009

A small number of competitive travel grants will be offered by EPIET/EAN for applicants whose abstract has been accepted for an oral or poster presentation at ESCAIDE 2009. Preference will be given to countries who have previously been under-represented at ESCAIDE.

In addition, grants for applicants from Portugal have been provided by the Gulbenkian institution. Applicants for these grants do not have to have an accepted abstract, but preference will be given to those with accepted posters or oral presentations at ESCAIDE.

The applicants must complete and send:

• An application form
• A copy of their current CV
• A letter of recommendation from their employer or supervisor, supporting their application and stating that they have not obtained sponsorship for this conference from any other source.

Applications must be received (by email) by 15 September 2009 and should be sent to EANBoard@gmail.com, and copied (c.c.) to  gfspiteri@gmail.com and kitwilliams@doctors.org.uk .
